Antonio Nichols

After graduating from college, my most pressing concern was finding the job that paid the best and gave me a straight shot to success. A few failed attempts after chasing that ideal I made my way into education. Working with kids, especially those that have been written off and told that they have no chance at success has been a highlight of my life and will continue to be one of the driving forces of my professional career. 

 

Originally from Houston, TX, I left the nest after graduating in 2013 to study Journalism and Music at the University of North Texas.  While studying at UNT I engaged with every organization I could. I marched in the renowned Green Brigade as a  trumpet player and also participated in other small ensembles around campus. I also helped lead our baseball team, as captain, to an NCBA regional tournament berth in 2015 and 2016 so I'm no stranger to being a member in a large group or leading the group.

 

Since graduating from the University of North Texas, I have held roles in which I’ve been able to use my skills and knowledge to grow the businesses that I have been a part of. I would like to focus on a position that is specifically Marketing or Public Relations in an established company with the resources and will to innovate their processes and connect to their constituents efficiently and effectively. Though my tenure as a Marketing/PR professional may not be very lengthy, I’m eager to show how my drive and continued investment in education combine to make me a qualified candidate for any position.
